I have always enjoyed writing and sharing my writing. I’m excited to have the opportunity to share my stories with more people. I try to write about a variety of issues and in a variety of styles to mix things up and keep them interesting to me, and, I hope, to the reader. My primary reason to write is to tell a story. I like to let characters reveal much of their thinking and motivation through their dialogue and actions rather than use a preponderance of description that tends to slow down the story flow. I write stories I like to read.
I live in the Western United States with my wife. We have four children and three grandchildren. Besides writing, I enjoy playing guitar and keyboard. Fulfilling my compulsion to create, I vacillate between writing and composing music. I have been a professional musician, playing in a show rock band in Denver, a hippie living in the mountains of Northern California, a surfer in Hawaii and Southern California, an entrepreneur, and, most importantly, a husband and a father.
